A half round shower rod that inspires with its filigree appearance and stability. Made of only 12mm solid stainless steel shower rods. Ideally suited as a shower rod for free-standing, barrier-free shower trays or walk in showers and bathtubs at floor level. A round alternative to the angular shower curtain rod in U-shape! Due to the large radius of the shower rod, the shower curtain hooks glide beautifully on the shower curtain rod. With two shower curtains you can pull the shower curtains apart to the left and right like a theatre curtain. With the patented freeglide shower curtain hooks HKD12, specially developed for this shower rod, the shower curtain glides along the entire shower rod without being stopped by the ceiling bracket. The number of required shower curtain hooks depends on the choosen shower curtain width (shower curtain sizes see below).

Installation and accessories half circle shower rod U shape extended

For installation of the shower rod on a sloped wall, such as a roof slope, there are flexible shower curtain rod holders available, especially made for the ceiling and wall mounting of the shower rod. This allows you to adjust and align the ceiling bracket of the shower rod to any sloped ceiling. The delivery includes a 40cm long ceiling holder. This 6mm thin support rod can be shortened by yourself. The round shower rod itself can not be shortened so easily, but we are happy to do this for you by arrangement and directly in the workshop. Basically, the round shower rod is available in any length, shape and radius as a custom-made product according to your wishes. Just contact us and we will work out the best solution for your personal bathroom.

To fix the ceiling bracket and the shower rod, in total 3 holes are drilled with 8mm dia, provided with a dowel and a hanger bolt. The shower rod is screwed onto this invisibly bolt. If the drill holes are not clean, a cover rosette elegantly conceals the connection of the shower rod between wall and wall bracket or ceiling and ceiling bracket. Alternatively you can glue the shower rod on tiles with a -never drill- adhesive adapter and on glass with crystal clear UV glue and an adhesive adapter for glass.

Shower rods made of stainless steel are inherently hygienic and antibacterial. The shower rod is available as satin matt grinded stainless steel or with a high-gloss polished surface. The high-gloss polished surface looks very noble, is a custom-made product and cannot be exchanged. For the hand polished version, an additional time expenditure of approx. one week must be added. 2 sizes are immediately available. Individual wishes can be taken into account after consultation.

If you want to have your towel within reach of the shower, you will find various towel holders of the best quality. For a free-standing shower, we recommend a free-standing towel rack or the very practical towel hook, which is connected directly to the shower rod.
