The shower curtain is 100% free of all plastics Before being sewn into a curtain the fabric is mechanically impregnated with wax in an environmentally respectful process.

The impregnation has self-repairing properties and lasts for a long time, if you make sure that the shower curtain can always dry well and avoid it standing in water or permanently sticking to the bathtub. Care instructions

As with any shower curtain, it is important to let it hang freely to dry after each use.

Especially with cotton shower curtains, the care and cleaning are decisive for long life and a beautiful patina.

The waxed cotton fabric is water-repellent. However, oils, soaps, and other chemical additives found in bathing liquids and shampoos, can damage the surface over time if not properly rinsed off

Shower curtain cleaning

This shower curtain is designed to be as environmentally respectful as possible. We recommend that you avoid unnecessarily using a washing machine and instead to remove dirt with a soft brush or sponge. Detergents should be used sparingly. For heavier soiling, it is recommended to soak the area with clean cold water and then rub the fabric against itself.

The fabric is impregnated and woven in such a way that no water can penetrate. The impregnation can be refreshed with an iron or by using an impregnating agent for waxed textiles. When ironing without steam, ensure that the heat is low and place a cloth or baking paper underneath to protect the ironing board.
