Shower curtain care instructions
The shower curtain made of waxed cotton repels water but not oil. Oil stains perpetuate themselves on the surface if not removed in time.
As with any shower curtain, scab and rotten skin is avoided if it hangs dry and free after showering.
As with every shower curtain, especially with waxed cotton, the care and cleaning is decisive for its life span and patina.
As with any shower curtain, when used in a bathtub, you should avoid it sticking permanently to the edge of the tub, as it will not be able to dry.
Shower curtain cleaning
Since the impregnation goes all the way through the fabric, water stays on the surface and stops the washing machine and detergent from doing their thing. Avoid washing in the washing machine and remove dirt by hand, sponge or soft brush. For heavier soiling, soak the area with clear cold water and rub the fabric against each other. The best way to clean a DUWAX shower curtain is with liquid citric acid. Simply spray the shower curtain, spread it with a sponge or soft brush, rinse, and you're done.
You can refresh the existing impregnation with an iron. Iron at the lowest temperature, without steam and with a cloth or baking paper underneath to protect the iron cover. Basically, impregnating agents for waxed textiles, such as wax jackets and bags, work.
You can do little wrong, your treatment will determines the patina.

Lieferung in Pappverpacku...
Lieferung in Pappverpackung, was ich sehr gut fand. Jedoch die Versandverpackung eine Plastiktüte. Hier wäre auch eine ökologischere Verpackung wie bspw. Pappkarton wünschenswert. Wie bereits jemand anderes erwähnt hat beim blau / weißen Vorhang sieht man die Stellen des Wachsbruchs im farbigen Bereich. Dies ist natürlich, jedoch optisch anfangs gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber nicht störend wenn man um den Hintergrund weiß. Der Vorhang klebt nicht, was ich sehr toll finde neben der nachhaltigen Komponente. Farbe würde ich als etwas intensiver als auf dem Bild dargestellt einstufen. Alles in allem ein gelungener Vorhang.
