Based on frequent demand, the standard ceiling hanger has a length of 40 cm and can be shortened by yourself with a hacksaw or flex. We would be happy to do this for you, as well. The length of the shower curtain rod itself can only be adjusted by a professional due to the clever fastening with internal thread.
